• Provide accurate, consecutive interpretation primarily in medical settings. • Facilitate crucial communication in social services and financial contexts. • Initially focused on OPI, with a clear pathway to advance into VRI.
• Experience: 6 months to 1 year minimum of professional experience in remote medical interpretation. • English Proficiency: Minimum C1 fluency. We accept valid certifications from EF SET (4-Skill), TOEFL, or CAE. • Medical Interpretation Certification: You must provide proof of medical interpreter knowledge issued within the last 12 months. Accepted certifications include: ALTA Spanish fluency: Minimum score of 9 required. LanguageStat (PICSI): Passing score of 75–80% required. • Core Skills: Complete mastery of medical and customer service terminology. • Compliance: Must currently hold, or be willing to obtain, HIPAA and FWA (Fraud, Waste, and Abuse) certifications. • Background Check: Willingness to successfully complete a standard background check via email.
