📋 Description
• Provide accurate, consecutive interpretation primarily in medical settings. • Facilitate crucial communication in social services and financial contexts. • Advance in role to Video Remote Interpretation (VRI) as opportunities arise.
🎯 Requirements
• 6 months to 1 year minimum of professional experience in remote medical interpretation. • English Proficiency: Minimum C1 fluency. • Medical Interpretation Certification: You must provide proof of medical interpreter knowledge issued within the last 12 months. • Spanish fluency: Minimum score of 9 required. • Compliance: Must currently hold, or be willing to obtain, HIPAA and FWA (Fraud, Waste, and Abuse) certifications. • Background Check: Willingness to successfully complete a standard background check via email. • Technical Requirement: A hardwired Ethernet connection directly to your router is mandatory (Wi-Fi is strictly prohibited) and a high-quality, noise-canceling USB headset. • Computer Specs: Minimum of Windows 10 OS and 4GB RAM. • Browser: The latest version of Google Chrome, Apple Safari, or Microsoft Edge. • Workspace: A dedicated, quiet, and fully HIPAA-compliant working environment.
