📋 Description
• Provide accurate consecutive interpretation over the phone between English and Spanish in medical, customer service, social services, emergency, and/or legal settings • Facilitate communication between providers and LEPs (Limited English Proficient individuals) to ensure clear understanding and quality of care
🎯 Requirements
• Proven experience in Medical Interpretation and strong interpreting skills • Solid knowledge of medical, customer service, social services, and/or legal terminology • Fluency in English and Spanish (spoken and written) • Excellent listening and communication skills • Relevant certification in medical interpretation or related field preferred • Strict adherence to HIPAA compliance • Wired internet connection (Ethernet, directly to router; no Wi-Fi) • Noise-canceling microphone and USB headset • Latest version of Chrome, Safari, Edge, or Firefox • Full-time availability, Monday–Friday
