Available 24/7, krisenchat connects individuals in need with professional counselors to find solutions and offer support in challenging times. The service is free of charge and is supported by donations, volunteers, and affiliates who believe in the organization's mission to help young people navigate through personal difficulties and improve their mental well-being. krisenchat also provides resources and advice on a wide range of issues through its Oasis section, aiming to make a significant impact on the community.

📋 Description

• Operational leadership of specialist teams • First point of contact for subject-matter and organizational questions • Support with short-term challenges (e.g., staff absences, overload situations, and, if necessary, escalation) • Participation in HR processes such as recruiting • Conducting personnel interviews and staff meetings • Leading the Child Welfare team • Monitoring chats within the Child Welfare team after each chat contact • Developing counseling strategies and continuously updating them • Participating in weekly team meetings and intervision (peer supervision) sessions • Organizing and conducting case reviews for volunteers and interns

🎯 Requirements

• State-recognized social worker or a Master’s degree in Psychology • Experience counseling children and adolescents, particularly in areas of child welfare endangerment, sexualized violence, and suicidality • Advantage: qualification as an Insoweit erfahrene Fachkraft (qualified specialist in child protection) • Initial leadership experience desirable • Comfortable working in hybrid or remote setups • Strong linguistic sensitivity and an above-average understanding of the needs of our target group
