Available 24/7, krisenchat connects individuals in need with professional counselors to find solutions and offer support in challenging times. The service is free of charge and is supported by donations, volunteers, and affiliates who believe in the organization's mission to help young people navigate through personal difficulties and improve their mental well-being. krisenchat also provides resources and advice on a wide range of issues through its Oasis section, aiming to make a significant impact on the community.

📋 Description

• Counseling children, adolescents and young adults. • Providing support on issues such as anxiety, loneliness, depressive symptoms, or problems at school and within the family. • Flexible scheduling of chat shifts in 2.5-hour blocks.

🎯 Requirements

• Completed Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, or psychology undergraduate student with additional qualification or substantial counseling experience. • Psychotherapists in training or licensed in recognized therapeutic approaches. • Physicians with an additional qualification in psychotherapy. • Teachers and educators with additional psychosocial counseling experience. • Social workers and social pedagogues with state recognition. • Basic computer skills. • Written German at C2 level. • Submission of an extended police clearance certificate (criminal record check) is mandatory.
