📋 Description

• Lead the identification, containment, and eradication of critical security incidents across the complete incident lifecycle • Perform forensic analyses and preserve digital evidence in accordance with best practices and chain-of-custody procedures • Develop, update, and implement incident response playbooks and runbooks • Monitor and correlate alerts in EDR/XDR tools to detect anomalies and optimize security controls • Prepare executive and technical-legal reports covering root cause and impact • Conduct post-incident reviews and propose mitigation and hardening plans • Participate in crisis simulation exercises • Mentor junior SOC N1 analysts

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in an IT-related field or a relevant postgraduate qualification in Information Security • Proven, substantial mid-level experience in incident response and cyber crisis management • Hands-on experience in digital forensics and evidence collection • Holistic perspective and strong technical proficiency with EDR/XDR tools and detection systems • Ability to prepare technical-legal reports to support internal proceedings and audits • Structured knowledge of the ISO 27001, MITRE ATT&CK, NIST CSF, and CIS Controls methodologies and frameworks • Certifications focused on Incident Response and Digital Forensics, such as GCIH, CHFI, and ECIH • Prior experience working directly with SOC and CTI (Cyber Threat Intelligence) teams
