• Translate business requirements into technical specifications, including data flows, integrations, transformations, databases, data warehouses and big data • Define the data architecture structure, standards and principles, including modeling, metadata and security • Define a reference architecture that can be used as a standard for building and improving data systems • Define data flows: which parts of the organization produce data, which consume it, how data flows are managed and how data changes in transit • Collaborate with sales / pre-sales and delivery teams in the development of data strategies • Participate in events to identify opportunities and develop POCs (proofs of concept) • Evaluate current and emerging data management technologies • Create an end-to-end view of the data flow / data pipeline • Understand data flow processes for both batch and streaming • Conceptually understand Data Lake and Lakehouse • Understand the Modern Data Warehouse.
🎯 Requirements
• Data Architecture and Modeling: Big Data architecture • Knowledge of database schema design, data modeling and structuring data for efficiency and scalability • Experience with data normalization and dimensional modeling techniques for analytical data storage • Proficiency in database technologies, including relational databases (e.g., Azure SQL Database) and NoSQL • Knowledge of data storage solutions such as data lakes and data warehouses within the Azure environment • Detailed understanding of cloud architecture, especially Azure, including best practices, design patterns and cloud services related to data management • Fluent English
