📋 Description

• Architect behind the high-performance data infrastructure • Responsible for implementing identified components • Ensure that implemented components are appropriately documented, unit-tested, and ready for integration into the final product • Architect the solution, test the code, and deploy and build a CI/CD pipeline for it • Provide work estimates for assigned development work • Guide features, functional objectives, or technologies being built for interested parties

🎯 Requirements

• Programming (Python) • Strong working knowledge of Python for building and maintaining data pipelines • Ability to write clean, efficient, and testable code • Experience building or supporting data pipelines and ingestion processes • Strong SQL skills and understanding of data modelling concepts • Hands-on experience with AWS services (e.g. Networking, IAM, Glue, S3, Lambda, Firehose, RDS, Event Bridge, Cloudwatch) • Understanding of how data flows across distributed systems • Experience working with CI/CD pipelines (e.g. Jenkins, GitLab) • Ability to investigate issues using logs, documentation, and prior solutions • Takes tasks from start to finish and follows through to completion • Provides clear, structured updates on progress and blockers • Validates outputs, tests pipelines, and ensures completeness before review • Experience with Terraform and tools such as tfsec • Awareness of infrastructure security and best practices • Experience with Teradata and/or Starburst • Understanding of querying large-scale datasets and distributed query engines • Familiarity with tools such as Fivetran and data sources like Salesforce • Experience monitoring systems (e.g. AWS Health, incident logs)
