📋 Description

• Provide technical support and operational expertise across mainframe and distributed system environments • Support mainframe operations using ISPF, TSO utilities, JCL, Control-M (BMC), DB2 tables, and dataset handling • Assist with batch processing, monitoring, and issue resolution • Administer and support Unix and Windows systems, WebSphere JVMs, Citrix platforms, MQ, and VMware ESX infrastructures • Support implementation and maintenance of Microsoft Windows Server 2016/2019 environments • Monitor Control-M jobs, verify statuses, analyze logs, rerun failed jobs, and update parameters • Troubleshoot incidents, execute changes, and maintain service availability • Manage systems data for clients and provide day-to-day solutions and security compliance • Oversee assignment queues and prioritize tickets with technicians • Recommend modernization options and identify new business opportunities • Collaborate with peers, senior engineers, global teams, stakeholders, and other teams • Contribute to team effectiveness and continuous improvement initiatives

🎯 Requirements

• Hands-on technical skills in mainframe and distributed system environments • Operational discipline and ability to work under guidance from senior team members • Experience with ISPF, TSO utilities, JCL, Control-M (BMC), DB2 tables, and dataset handling • Unix/Linux administration skills • Windows Server 2016/2019 knowledge • WebSphere JVM, Citrix, MQ, and VMware ESX knowledge • Control-M job monitoring, log analysis, reruns, and parameter updates • Unix/Linux commands, file manipulation, permissions, process management, scripts, and logs • Intermediate SQL queries using SELECT, WHERE, and JOIN • Ability to perform targeted INSERT and UPDATE data corrections • Postman/API requests using GET, POST, and PUT • Ability to validate status codes and response payloads • Kibana, ELK, Dynatrace, and Grafana observability tools • Fluent English required • Availability to work from 2 pm to 11 pm • Bachelor’s degree preferred • Linux and SQL listed as preferred technical and professional experience
