📋 Description

• Manage logistics strategies, documentation, and compliance for clinical trial projects of increasing complexity • Support study setup, maintenance, and execution • Manage a portfolio of complex studies and collaborate with internal teams and external partners • Collaborate with Setup Managers, Strategic Client Managers, and Project Managers to define and document logistics needs • Manage 20–40 complex, high-importance studies simultaneously • Respond immediately to Project Management logistics queries and concerns • Serve as primary logistics contact for Project Management and Client Services • Communicate directly with Sponsors and/or Contract Research Organizations on specific logistics topics • Investigate shipping-lane feasibility for site and laboratory locations and recommend transit strategies • Support creation of site-instruction documents and Starter Packs with selected carriers • Develop logistics and customs compliance strategies and processes • Develop and execute processes for pro-forma and shipment-specific invoices across partners, vendors, and regions • Manage logistics documents for moving materials and biological specimens across global borders; review and facilitate signatures by site/country • Explain international carrier and logistics-solution performance using data • Implement and maintain processes for daily transactions to ensure timely movement of products from origin to destination • Assume responsibilities of other Logistics Team roles when required • Participate in investigations and corrective/preventive actions for logistics-related Quality Events • No travel required • No supervisory responsibilities

🎯 Requirements

• BS or MS in Business, Logistics, Supply Chain or related field preferred; a combination of relevant education and experience may be considered in lieu of a formal degree • 4+ years of industry-related logistics experience managing clinical studies required • Experience managing complex clinical studies preferred • Knowledge of international supply chain processes, carriers, third-party logistics companies, forwarders, couriers, and transportation performance measures required • Ability to operate at a fast pace and manage multiple deliverables simultaneously with tight deadlines • Strong communication skills • Ability to work independently • Exemplary multitasking and organizational skills • Excellent interpersonal skills and a proactive, positive attitude • Full fluency in English • Strong math abilities • Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry preferred • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and ERP software • Experience leading and mentoring others preferred • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer • Prolonged use of a computer and headphones for conference calls • Ability to communicate effectively via phone, video, and email • Ability to use hands and fingers to operate a computer and other office equipment • Close vision and ability to adjust focus • Occasional ability to reach with hands and arms
