• Manage logistics strategies, documentation, and compliance for increasingly complex clinical trial projects • Support study setup, maintenance, and execution • Manage a portfolio of 20–40 complex studies • Collaborate with Setup Managers, Strategic Client Managers, Project Managers, Sponsors, Contract Research Organizations, carriers, and other external partners • Respond to logistics queries and concerns from Project Management • Serve as the primary logistics contact for Project Management and Client Services • Investigate shipping-lane feasibility and recommend transit strategies • Create site-instruction documents and Starter Packs with selected carriers • Develop and execute logistics and customs compliance strategies and processes • Draft and manage pro-forma and shipment-specific invoices across partners, vendors, and regions • Manage logistics documents for moving materials and biological specimens across global borders, including facilitating site/country signatures • Analyze and explain international carrier and logistics-solution performance using data • Maintain processes for daily transactions to ensure timely product movement • Assume other Logistics Team responsibilities when required • Participate in investigations and corrective/preventive actions for logistics-related Quality Events
• BS or MS in Business, Logistics, Supply Chain or related field preferred; a combination of relevant education and experience may be considered in lieu of a formal degree • 4+ years of industry-related logistics experience in managing clinical studies required • Experience managing complex clinical studies preferred • Knowledge of international supply chain processes, carriers, third party logistics companies, forwarders, couriers, and transportation performance measures required • Ability to operate at a fast pace and manage multiple deliverables simultaneously with tight deadlines • Strong communication skills • Able to work independently • Exemplary multitasking and organizational skills • Excellent interpersonal skills and a proactive, positive attitude • Full fluency in English • Strong math abilities • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and ERP software • Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry preferred • Experience leading and mentoring others preferred
