• Conduct detailed investigations into employee relations concerns such as harassment, discrimination, retaliation, and workplace violence • Provide clear, timely investigation communications, reports, summaries, and supporting documentation • Support and coach leaders in managing attendance cases • Facilitate learning workshops and knowledge transfer for leaders • Employ effective interviewing and documentation techniques • Manage cases using the ServiceNow online case management tool • Assist in preparing works council meetings and documentation • Support development of an inclusive and positive workplace culture • Support and coach managers in developing, delivering, and monitoring Performance Improvement Plans • Partner with business and HR leaders when reviewing termination decisions • Report to the Senior Employee Relations Manager • Manage employee issues through resolution and support employee relations programs and policies across Poland, Bulgaria, and Germany • Interface with employees, management, Legal, HRBPs, and external stakeholders to maintain positive employee relations and resolve workplace issues
• Bachelor’s degree desirable, preferably in human resource management or related field, or an equivalent combination of education, training, and work • 2 or more years of experience in the Employee Relations field • Professional proficiency in German and English • Fluency in either Polish or Bulgarian is essential • Experience conducting investigations and advising on sensitive and complex employee relations issues, including performance management, interpersonal manager/employee conflicts or complaints, leaves, accommodations, and behavioural conduct issues • Knowledge of relevant basic employment and labour laws in Poland and Bulgaria; Germany is a plus • Ability to problem-solve with minimal guidance and willingness to ask for help when appropriate • Strong verbal, written, and presentation communication skills • Ability to conduct a thorough and complete investigation • Strong problem-solving skills with minimal guidance required • Flexibility and willingness to handle competing priorities and assist others as needed in a team environment • Ability to make timely, informed, and objective decisions • Willingness to work 40 hours per week, Monday-Friday
