📋 Description

• Reconstruct 3D power grid networks using point cloud (LiDAR) and map (GIS) data • Place 3D objects, including poles, lines, and conductors, to match real-world physical layouts • Align original 2D map data with 3D models • Label high-resolution drone photos to identify grid components and detect structural defects such as equipment damage or wear • Help map and reconstruct electrical distribution networks for a 3D digital twin project • Support efforts to prevent power grid failures and manage critical infrastructure worldwide

🎯 Requirements

• Background in GIS, Geodesy, Cartography, Land Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field • Strong spatial reasoning and ability to navigate 3D environments • English B2 proficiency for reading instructions, watching training videos, and communicating effectively • High attention to detail • Problem-solving skills • Willingness to learn from feedback • PC/laptop with Intel i7-11800H or equivalent/better CPU • Dedicated GPU: NVIDIA T1200 or better; RTX 4060 recommended • Minimum 16 GB RAM; 32 GB preferred • CV in English highlighting spatial and technical skills
