Labor Mobility Partnerships (LaMP) is a nonprofit organization that builds multi-stakeholder partnerships to expand safe, rights-respecting, and financially sustainable labor migration pathways from low-income countries to markets with labor shortages. LaMP focuses on demonstration projects, technical assistance, coalition building, and research to create scalable programs that connect businesses, governments, recruiters, and workers. Its stated goal is to create better job opportunities for half a billion workers from low-income countries by 2050 and to address labor shortages in high-income countries. LaMP convenes stakeholders through events (e. g. , Global Workforce X change), provides resources and policy advocacy, and operates from offices in Washington, DC and Berlin.

📋 Description

• Build and advance opportunities • Help shape decisions on where LaMP should engage and why • Identify promising labor mobility opportunities across countries, corridors, and sectors • Help shape early-stage ideas into concrete and scalable program concepts • Move opportunities forward — from initial conversations to actionable next steps • Develop relationships that unlock work • Build partnerships with employers, recruiters, training providers, industry actors, and ecosystem organizations • Cultivate relationships with government stakeholders to advance emerging partnerships and policy proposals • Support fundraising and partnerships

🎯 Requirements

• Experience delivering results against ambitious plans on the African continent • Success in prior roles where working in partnership with diverse stakeholders has been crucial • A combination of strategy development, program design, and project management and execution • Strong communication skills and external presence • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities • Enthusiasm and ability to travel up to 30% of time • Unwavering integrity and a commitment to bringing better jobs to people on the African continent
