• Produce remediation designs in Figma for each audit finding, covering semantic structure, keyboard operability, focus order and visibility, contrast, form labelling and error handling, status messaging, and non-text alternatives • Design and document default, hover, focus, active, disabled, loading, error, and empty states • Write implementation-ready specifications covering focus behaviour, accessible names, reading order, and expected assistive technology announcements • Resolve remediation at the component level and propose design system changes where appropriate • Flag fixes requiring interaction design changes and raise tradeoffs • Release remediation in reviewed batches, sequenced with Product and Engineering by severity, effort, and dependency • Maintain a traceable record from audit finding to design decision to specification • Support design QA on implemented work
• Must be based within CET ±1 • 3 to 5 years of product design experience • Demonstrable accessibility work on complex web products • Highly detail-oriented and systematic • Strong interaction design skills applied to dense, multi-step, configuration-heavy interfaces • Familiar with assistive technology behaviour • Comfortable working within and extending an established design system • Self-sufficient and able to drive work forward against a fixed end date • Proficient in Figma • Working knowledge of WCAG 2.1 AA at the success criterion level (great to have) • Familiarity with ARIA patterns (great to have) • Experience contributing accessibility patterns or documentation to a design system, or with VPAT or ACR documentation (great to have) • EdTech or healthcare background, or familiarity with authoring and content management tools (great to have)
