📋 Description
• Own large parts of the backend end-to-end: underwriting engines, financial calculations, compliance rules • Design and ship rock-solid APIs (DRF) that power our web app and third-party integrations • Build and tune async workflows (Celery + Redis)
🎯 Requirements
• Deep Python + Django expertise (DRF, Celery, solid Postgres modeling, testing discipline) • Proven ability to keep financial-grade systems accurate, auditable, and secure • Real experience shipping backend-heavy features at an A or B-round startup • Self-starter who thrives when process is light and expectations are high • Fintech experience is a big plus • Bonus: you’ve scaled Kubernetes workloads on GCP, or you secretly love writing migrations
