📋 Description
• We are looking for a talented individual to join the Core Data Science team at LaunchDarkly – responsible for core methodology within our product line. • Ensuring the statistical rigor and validity of our products • Developing new techniques to bring value to our users • Advocating for technically-sophisticated personas in our product development process • Raising the bar for data-driven decision making within our products • Collaborate cross-functionally with engineering, design, and product teams • Conduct research to inform feature design, ensuring statistical and performance requirements are met • Provide reference implementations and technical guidance; contribute to production code as needed • Support product planning by sizing, scoping, and offering technical input on design discussions • Drive data accessibility by defining team metrics, optimizing queries, and improving processes and tooling to enable data-driven decisions
🎯 Requirements
• Experience: 3+ years in industry • Technical Expertise: Masters or PhD in Statistics or a related field, or 3+ years experience specifically in online experimentation • Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills • Bias for Action: A pragmatic and iterative approach to engineering
