• Lead discovery and solutioning conversations with inbound and qualified outbound Shopify commerce leads. • Ask the right business + technical questions to uncover real needs, not just surface asks. • Collaborate with BD, Solutions Architects, and Delivery teams to craft tailored proposals. • Help prospects navigate trade-offs and choose smarter approaches to achieving their goals. • Act as the primary point of contact for clients from pre-sale through engagement kickoff. • Build strong relationships through responsive, thoughtful communication (text, call, Slack, whatever it takes). • Develop account roadmaps and identify new opportunities to expand our work together. • Position Lazer as a strategic partner, not just a vendor. • Ensure seamless handoff and knowledge transfer from pre-sales into delivery. • Align closely with Solutions and Delivery leaders to unblock teams and set projects up for success. • Proactively flag risks, manage expectations, and keep both clients and teams accountable. • Contribute to refining our engagement model and raising the bar for client service.
• Experience in solutions consulting, technical sales, or agency client services. • Strong understanding of the Shopify ecosystem (apps, integrations, migrations, and enterprise needs). • Excellent communication skills — equally comfortable in informal client chats or structured presentations. • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and proactive in follow-through. • Comfortable in a consultative, non-transactional sales role. • Prior experience at a Shopify partner, commerce agency, or consultancy. • Hands-on Shopify product strategy or implementation background. • Experience growing accounts and spotting long-term opportunities. • Familiarity with digital product strategy and commerce innovation.
