📋 Description

• Own end-to-end design strategy from discovery through prototyping, testing, and handoff; deliver high-fidelity visuals, interaction specs, and docs that engineers can action immediately. • Work directly with client engineers early and often—discuss what's feasible, collaborate on tradeoffs, and iterate designs based on technical constraints and opportunities. • Partner with client Product and Engineering teams to understand goals and user needs; translate objectives into compelling design solutions that move their roadmap forward. • Lead with mobile-first thinking; design experiences optimized for mobile with thoughtful desktop and tablet considerations where needed. • Run user research and usability testing; synthesize findings into actionable recommendations and present insights to stakeholders with confidence. • Facilitate design workshops and feedback sessions with clients; communicate rationale clearly, receive feedback well, and build alignment across their org. • Build and extend client design systems; establish standards tailored to their needs, ensure consistency across surfaces, and create docs so their teams can maintain it. • Communicate design strategy and progress to stakeholders with clarity; advocate for design-driven solutions while staying responsive to business constraints. • Sweat the details—edge cases, scalability, cultural context, accessibility, and multi-device/multi-language considerations. • Act as a trusted design advisor; share expertise, identify growth opportunities, and help clients level up their design maturity over time.

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years shipping product design at scale; proven track record owning significant product surfaces end-to-end with mobile design expertise and mobile-first thinking—agency, startup, or consulting background preferred. • Expert visual and interaction design skills with deep prototyping chops; high craft standards and attention to detail across all surfaces, edge cases, and scenarios. • 0-1 product design experience or strong startup background—comfortable making decisions with incomplete information and moving fast in ambiguous environments. • Crypto-forward or quick learner on web3—familiar with onchain activity, wallets, dApps, DeFi basics, and blockchain-based services (or excited to level up fast). • Natural at translating complex technical systems into intuitive, accessible UX that works for both power users and crypto newcomers. • Strong design-to-engineer collaboration skills; experienced handing off detailed specs, discussing feasibility, and iterating based on what's actually buildable. • Figma fluent with design system contribution experience; can build scalable frameworks that teams can maintain long-term. • Exceptional stakeholder management; influence decisions through clear design rationale and align recommendations with client business goals. • Comfortable working autonomously, managing your own time, and thriving in fast-paced, sometimes messy environments. • Proven portfolio showing user-centered problem-solving, clear design process, and successful launches in fintech, blockchain, or similarly complex domains.
