📋 Description

• Traveling on a weekly basis to deliver company products, fill customer silos, provide installation, maintenance, troubleshooting / repair and customer training support for all LB Foster friction management lubricators • Extensive travel to work sites throughout North America is required on a weekly basis • Liaise with external customers and internal company departments for product development and relationship-building initiatives • Ability to work outdoors on railway tracks under a variety of weather conditions • Responsible for managing personal travel expense account, individual or company-supplied mechanics tools, company-issued credit cards where applicable • Handles basic issues and problems, refers more complex issues to higher-level staff • All other duties as assigned

🎯 Requirements

• High school graduate or equivalent required • 0-2 years of hydraulic, mechanical, pneumatic, electrical experience preferred • Boom crane experience a plus • Require valid driver’s license and driver’s abstract • E-Railsafe required upon hire, plus other customer-based training as may be required to access work sites • Experience using basic hand and power tools • Hydraulic and transfer pump experience a plus • Strong communication (verbal and computer) and time management skills • Experience with Microsoft Office Software (Word, Excel, etc.) a plus • A high degree of reliability, professionalism, and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision are critical attributes for this position. • Sound writing skills for work report submissions • Ability and willingness to follow all applicable safety and operating rules for client railways in a professional and conscientious manner. • Must wear Personnel Protective Equipment PPE (Hard Hat, Safety glasses, Gloves and Hearing protection as required).
