• Develop dynamic Excel-based valuation models for detailed inventory analysis • Perform valuation assessments under orderly liquidation scenarios • Conduct thorough inventory reconciliations, sales, gross margin, and expense analyses across multiple industries • Support inventory appraisals to assist in asset-based lending (ABL) facility evaluations • Collaborate with senior leaders and internal ABL team to understand requirements, process flow, and core valuation drivers • Contribute to the expansion of the firm’s valuation offerings specifically within the inventory appraisal • Serve as the key point of contact for clients over the course of the business valuation engagement (manage receipt of financial documents, respond to questions as necessary, deliver finalized valuation report) • Participate in business development activities as interested (conferences, networking events) • Work on projects with division Director as needed
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Economics or Finance, required • 3+ years of inventory valuation experience, required • Professional designation (e.g., ASA, CFA, CPA, ABV), preferred • Machinery & equipment valuation experience, preferred • Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Excel, PowerPoint and Word, required • Understanding of economics, financial theory and/or principles of accounting, required • Excellent written and verbal communication skills • Superior analytical and research skills • Solid organizational skills, especially the ability to meet project deadlines with a focus on details • Ability to successfully 'multi-task' while working independently or within a group environment • Proven ability to work in a deadline-driven environment and handle multiple projects simultaneously • Ability to successfully interact with professionals at all levels.
