📋 Description

• Overseeing the architectural design and development of software systems and applications across multiple projects. • Leading and mentoring a team of developers distributed across Latin America. • Managing internal and external stakeholders, and ensuring the successful delivery of projects using cutting-edge technologies. • Design and development of robust, scalable AWS cloud software architectures for distributed microservices systems that meet the strategic goals of the organization. • Serving as the subject matter expert on billing and revenue recognition solutions. • Overseeing the execution of multiple internal projects, ensuring timelines, quality standards, and budget constraints are met. • Acting as the primary liaison between development teams and internal/external stakeholders, translating business requirements into technical specifications. • Evaluating and implementing new technologies, including AI, low-code platforms, and cloud services (AWS, GCP), to enhance project outcomes and organizational efficiency. • Developing comprehensive architecture documentation and ensuring all solutions are compliant with relevant regulatory and security standards.

🎯 Requirements

• 8+ years of experience in software development • 6+ years of AWS cloud architecture experience • Experience working in SaaS products, Start-up environments, and with agile methodologies • Experience with Jira, and other project management tools • Experience with API-led platforms • Proficient in front-end and back-end programming languages, particularly JavaScript (React / Node) • Extensive experience with AWS cloud architecture (appsync, graphQL, EC2, S3, EKS, SQS, RDS, Kinesis and event streams) and GCP, including network architecture, database management (no-sql and sql), and cloud security. • Experience with infrastructure/application design; data and cloud security protocols and requirements; system, platform, and account migrations; network infrastructure; proper API implementation, security and authentication systems. • The ability to convert abstract and complex business requirements into technical specifications that produce a detailed design document. • Strong background in designing and implementing scalable, high-availability systems, and experience with enterprise IT architecture frameworks. • Knowledge of continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines, containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), and infrastructure as code (Terraform, CloudFormation). • Experience with relational and non-relational databases, particularly DynamoDB and PostgreSQL, and data architecture design.
