• Develop and execute strategic tax initiatives to optimize the organization’s tax position while ensuring full compliance. • Oversee all federal, state, and local tax filings; manage relationships with tax authorities and external advisors. • Lead tax audit preparation and response; provide guidance on non-recurring transactions and legislative changes. • Contribute to financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting processes to support broader financial objectives. • Establish and maintain tax and financial policies, procedures, and internal controls. • Advise senior leadership and stakeholders on tax implications and financial strategy. • Manage partnerships with auditors, consultants, and government entities.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (CPA or CMA required). • 10+ years of progressive experience in tax compliance, financial operations, and strategic planning. • Prior experience in private equity-backed or investor-owned organizations is strongly preferred. • Background in both public accounting and in-house corporate tax environments is highly valued.
