📋 Description

• Design and ship full-stack features for Authoring Tools, from backend logic to polished frontend experiences • Own frontend architecture in Vue.js and help evolve consistent engineering practices • Write clean, scalable backend services in PHP focused on performance, robustness, and maintainability • Own work end to end, from problem understanding and estimation through implementation, code review, iteration, and release • Work across multiple projects and initiatives in parallel while adapting to changing requirements, priorities, and scope • Collaborate closely with Product Managers and designers to discuss solutions, share technical context, and shape the final product • Participate actively in code reviews and provide constructive feedback • Make pragmatic decisions across modern and legacy code, including when to improve, refactor, or build on existing solutions • Use AI-powered coding tools including Copilot, ChatGPT, Claude, and Cursor during development and code review • Balance technical quality with speed, customer impact, product context, and business realities • Build authoring tools that enable LearnWorlds customers to create scalable learning experiences

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years of professional software development experience, ideally in complex SaaS or product environments • Strong proficiency in modern JavaScript and Vue.js • Solid knowledge of frontend architecture, design patterns, anti-patterns, and maintainable UI development • Proficiency in PHP and ability to work confidently across backend services • Frontend-leaning full-stack mindset with ability to understand, debug, and contribute across the full stack • Deep understanding of RESTful APIs, HTTP fundamentals, and modern frontend application architecture • Hands-on experience with relational databases including MySQL and PostgreSQL • Hands-on experience with NoSQL databases including MongoDB • Strong software engineering fundamentals and ability to articulate technical trade-offs • Experience working with and evolving legacy codebases • Excellent debugging, problem-solving, and performance optimization skills • Ability to work autonomously, manage changing requirements, and take ownership through delivery and release • Strong communication and collaboration skills, including giving and receiving constructive technical feedback • High attention to detail and product-oriented mindset • Comfortable using AI-assisted development tools in daily engineering workflow • Native or near-native Greek speaker with a good working command of English • Nice-to-have: experience with complex authoring tools, editors, content creation experiences, or highly interactive web applications • Nice-to-have: experience with Docker, Kubernetes, or microservices architectures • Nice-to-have: exposure to or interest in Go • Nice-to-have: experience in EdTech, LMS systems, or complex SaaS products • Nice-to-have: experience in small, autonomous engineering groups across multiple parallel product initiatives • Nice-to-have: experience collaborating closely with product designers and contributing technical thinking during design • Nice-to-have: GitHub repositories, open-source contributions, or personal projects
