📋 Description

• Lead a team of 4–6 platform engineers and set technical direction • Build and improve CI/CD and deployment pipelines for human and AI-agent workflows • Own GCP infrastructure, Terraform configuration, monitoring, alerting, and SLOs • Partner with the CISO to define and execute Ledgy's security strategy • Build AI infrastructure and agent platform capabilities, including MCP interfaces, agent identity and access models, audit logging, dry-run, and sandbox environments • Develop direct reports and support career growth through 1:1s and performance reviews • Shape platform strategy with the Head of Engineering and CTO • Define and execute an agent-ready platform roadmap • Drive improvements to pipeline reliability, deployment velocity, developer experience, and infrastructure reliability • Lead engineering initiatives influencing how the organisation ships software

🎯 Requirements

• Strong vision for modern platform engineering with AI agents writing, testing, and deploying code alongside humans • Deep experience in CI/CD, DevOps, and infrastructure • Experience with observability, deployment automation, developer experience, and infrastructure-as-code • Security-minded approach to platform engineering, including AI-agent access to production systems and sensitive financial data • Experience developing engineers and supporting their growth • Comfortable remaining hands-on with Terraform, debugging pipelines, and shipping improvements • Actively use AI tools to multiply output • 3+ years of experience in Engineering Management • 6+ years of experience as a Software Engineer • Meaningful experience in platform, infrastructure, or DevOps roles • Preferred language/IDE for the live coding interview
