📋 Description
• Perform advanced FOIA processing functions with minimal oversight • Provide subject matter guidance to the FOIA team • Conduct complex reviews and apply exemptions with expert-level accuracy • Mentor junior and mid-level staff • Support quality assurance efforts • Ensure consistency and contribute to overall FOIA program effectiveness and compliance • Identify potential risks or harm
🎯 Requirements
• Must be a U.S. citizen. • Minimum of three (3) years of FOIA request processing within the last 48 months • Expert application of FOIA exemptions, DOJ guidance, and FOIA legislation. • Demonstrated ability to mentor, train, and guide staff to correct processing discrepancies. • Ability to perform thorough reviews and identify potential harm to ensure accurate and compliant releases. • Comprehensive knowledge of DOJ reporting requirements and proper submission procedures. • Bachelor's degree
