📋 Description
• Legal research and due diligence on investment opportunities • Preparation of investment memos • Real-time negotiation with plaintiffs and attorneys over investment terms and pricing • Training and working closely with the engineering team to translate legal knowledge into automation
🎯 Requirements
• Bachelor's Degree in Political Science, History, Law or related field desirable or equivalent experience from a top-tier institution. • J.D. from an accredited top 20 law school • 10+ years post-law school experience, including in a litigation practice at AmLaw 200 firm and/or comparable boutique firms • Experience with plaintiff-side representation, alternative fee arrangements, litigation finance, and/or in an asset-management environment are pluses but not required • Experience in several of the following areas: commercial litigation, breach of contract, antitrust, multidistrict litigation, employment disputes, whistleblower claims, corporate governance litigation
