📋 Description

• Administer ServiceNow SAM Pro as a Software Asset Management Analyst to enable accurate software installation discovery, ensure license compliance, and support end-to-end asset lifecycle management • Create, manage, and maintain software entitlements, including accurate license models, ensuring proper license distribution, and terms of use, in relation to ServiceNow managed contracts. • Perform software license reconciliation to compare entitlements against deployments and usage. • Monitor software consumption and identify opportunities for license optimization and cost savings. • Ensure data quality by analyzing integrations with discovery tools (e.g., SCCM, JAMF, Intune, Nexthink); proactively identify, analyze, and resolve defects through root cause analysis and continuous monitoring. • Facilitate internal and external audits by delivering precise entitlement, deployment, and usage data through validated asset records and system reporting. • Collaborate with ServiceNow developers, leveraging knowledge of the SDLC to define requirements, conduct user acceptance testing, analyze system behavior, and troubleshoot defects. • Assist in driving continuous improvement by identifying process gaps and recommending areas to gain efficiency through system automation. • Share your knowledge of Software Asset Management best practices to improve company processes.

🎯 Requirements

• US Citizenship is required • Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Business, or a related field • Minimum 2 years of experience in Software Asset Management, with at least 1 year specifically using ServiceNow SAM Pro • Outstanding communication and analytical skills • Advanced Microsoft Office skills, particularly PowerPoint and Excel (pivot tables, charts, formulas) • Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving skills • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities effectively in a fast-paced environment
