• monitor and identify important legal developments • write news articles for daily news production • set direction and provide tactical guidance • continually improve publication content • meet team performance goals • gather news and relevant documents • select which developments to report • provide explanation on court opinions and litigation documents • meet deadlines while producing publications • review analytics of web-based content usage
🎯 Requirements
• hard news reporting experience and excellent news judgment • Bachelor's degree in journalism/communications (relevant experience considered without a degree) • ability to multitask and reprioritize throughout the day • ability to understand and explain complex legal topics • skilled and speedy news writer • ability to network with attorney sources • excellent interviewing skills • ability to work Eastern time zone hours • ability to work independently
