• Programming features (approximately 80% of the time) • Assist in designing/programming high-risk components • Diagnose and resolve the most complex technical issues • Understand and play a major role across the design and delivery lifecycle — from ideation to project design, including UX, code, testing, deployment, security and component integration • Ensure the solution is easy to maintain by promoting sound design and code refactoring to minimize technical debt and facilitate deployment • Collaborate with the architecture team to ensure the product's long-term technical viability • Produce clear and effective technical documentation • Level 3 support (approximately 10% of the time) • Investigate issues reported by clients • Train Level 1 and Level 2 support teams on the technical changes in each release • Planning and preparation (approximately 10% of the time) • Support the technical lead in planning new releases • Perform complex technical analyses with a constant focus on the best solution for clients • Analyze and validate Product Manager requirements to determine project feasibility • Assess and provide high-level estimates
• University degree in Computer Science or equivalent • Minimum of 7 years of programming experience • Experience with complex software systems • Experience working with external consultants • Strong programming skills (C#, .NET Core, Angular) • Strong knowledge of databases (MS SQL) • Good understanding of programming best practices (unit testing, algorithms, etc.) • Good knowledge of DevOps practices (build and deployment pipelines with Azure DevOps, Bitbucket, etc.) • Knowledge of Visual FoxPro 9 is considered an asset • Autonomy and resourcefulness • Comfortable working with ambiguity • Strong problem-diagnosis skills • Attention to detail • Leadership • Collaboration • Interpersonal skills • Team spirit • Analytical mindset • Good communication skills • This position requires bilingualism: you will be expected to work with documentation in French and English and communicate, both verbally and in writing, with French- and English-speaking partners/clients/vendors/colleagues.
