📋 Description

• Develop the overall technical system design within the system architecture • Perform system-level calculations and simulations to assess and optimize efficiency, stability, and system performance • Integrate complex influencing factors such as EMC, grounding, cooling, and protection systems • Incorporate boundary conditions and requirements, e.g., fault conditions, application-specific safety and nominal requirements • Prepare requirements specifications, framework and interface specifications for subsystems and components • Apply systematic design processes (e.g., FMEA) • Produce technical system documentation • Create and manage requirements

🎯 Requirements

• Completed Master's or Diplom degree in Electrical Engineering, preferably with specialization in power electronics, electric drives, power engineering, or a related field • Solid expertise in EMC and protection concepts (origins, countermeasures, lightning and surge protection, ground faults) as well as network topologies and grounding schemes • Knowledge of power electronics (inverters, rectifiers, DC/DC converters, choppers) and passive components (transformers, energy storage) • Experience in control of electrical machines (induction machines/ASM, permanent-magnet synchronous machines/PMSM) and associated sensor systems for monitoring and diagnostics is desirable • Knowledge of system description and modeling (e.g., SysML) is an advantage • Familiar with systematic methods (FMEA, 8D) and relevant standards (EMC, functional safety) • Practical experience with Zuken E3, Creo, MATLAB, Simulink, Simscape desirable • Business-fluent German and good English skills • Independent and systematic working style • Flexibility, strong communication skills and a cooperative working style
