📋 Description

• Translate content between English and Irish while preserving cultural nuance and clarity • Edit and refine language content for accuracy, tone, and contextual relevance across digital platforms • Apply current language standards, usage trends, and best practices • Evaluate and provide structured feedback to improve language model quality • Collaborate with Production and cross-functional teams to localize content for Irish-speaking markets • Support content development, localization, and quality assurance for digital tools and applications • Creatively adapt source text beyond literal translation when transcreation is required • Complete domain-specific tests when required • Complete onboarding steps, including an application form and payment setup

🎯 Requirements

• Native-level proficiency in the target language(s) • A graduate qualification in translation, linguistics, or language studies, OR a graduate qualification in another field plus 2 years of full-time professional translation experience, OR 5 years of full-time professional translation experience • Ability to follow terminology and reference materials precisely • Reliable availability and commitment • Most tasks require a minimum of 2 hours per day or 10 hours per week • Updated CV in English • Irish must be the applicant's native language • Contractors cannot be engaged in regions subject to international embargoes or sanctions
