📋 Description

• Provide subject matter guidance to a group of 25–30 online students • Support students with academic writing, research, and time management skills • Conduct 1:1 and small group tutoring sessions • Guide students toward relevant reference material • Mark assessments and provide long-form feedback • Manage discussion forums • Provide proactive, prompt, and personalised support to student queries and issues • Interact with students by email, calls, and online sessions • Facilitate online learning for students in the Masters of Teaching-Primary program • Support students’ professional practice, ethical conduct, communication, interpersonal skills, student wellbeing, and professional placement readiness

🎯 Requirements

• Doctoral qualification or Master's Degree in Teaching and/or the relevant discipline area, or equivalent accreditation and standing • 5 years of relevant primary/secondary school teaching, research and/or professional experience in the last 5 years • Knowledge and understanding of teacher education policies and practices • Valid Teacher’s Registration in Australia; VIT preferred, QCT or NSW acceptable • Proficient in English • Excellent oral and written communication • Empathetic, ambitious, warm, and outgoing personality • Willingness to work closely with people from diverse cultures • Working laptop • Access to high-speed (>10 MBPS) stable internet connection • Ability to quickly learn and use technology platforms, including the host university’s LMS and LINC trac • Availability from 5 pm to 10 pm AEST every day • Scheduled weekend availability
