📋 Description

• Own the function that moves B2B/Health learners from readiness to passed exams • Plan and schedule Kenntnisprüfungen and other exams with authorities, exam partners and learners • Run course and exam logistics for course starts and exams • Build a lean, reliable, cost-efficient operations function steered by KPIs and data • Redesign processes to increase automation and use of AI agents • Lead Exam Planning and Course & Exam Logistics teams through Team Leads in a double-hierarchy setup • Set KPI-based goals and derive structural improvements from data and forecasts • Manage people performance, including goals, feedback, development plans and corrective measures • Evaluate and develop the exam partner network based on capacity, cost and outcomes • Own exam delivery costs and improve cost efficiency • Identify operational risks and underperformance and initiate corrective measures • Lead the Quality Management function within the first year • Own the QM system, SOPs and internal audits; prepare and defend external audits • Ensure compliance with AZAV and BA/SGB requirements and successful certification audits • Define and track KPIs using dashboards, analyses and forecasts • Collaborate with Course Delivery, Teaching, Sales/Account Management, Finance, authorities, exam partners and BA

🎯 Requirements

• A degree in a relevant field (e.g., Business Administration, Operations Management, Healthcare Management) • 3–5+ years in operational leadership, ideally leading teams of 15+ (direct/indirect) through team leads in scaling service or operations environments • Industry knowledge in exam planning and recognition of international nurses in Germany (Anerkennung, Kenntnisprüfung) is a strong plus • Experience with AZAV / SGB III or quality management systems such as ISO 9001, or clear willingness to build it quickly • Proven track record in KPI-based steering of operations teams, using metrics such as SLA, throughput, backlog and quality • Experience in process redesign and automation, with hands-on curiosity for AI tools and agentic workflows • Experience in vendor/partner management and cost optimisation • Change management experience, including leading teams through restructuring and new ways of working • Excellent communication skills in German (C1) and English (C1) • Builder's mindset; ability to simplify, automate and question the status quo • Ability to stay calm and structured in time-critical situations • Ownership of outcomes rather than tasks
