📋 Description

• Perform detailed field evaluations and complete full quantity take-offs of labor, equipment, and materials using Bluebeam, Accubid or similar software. • Provide field engineering, contract administration, shop drawing reviews, RFIs, and submittal tracking throughout the project lifecycle. • Assist in establishing construction plans and engineering methods tailored to project specifications and cabling installations. • Administer, price, track, and submit project change orders. • Develop data center technical training, SOPs, and work instructions to ensure compliance with customer quality plans and industry standards. • Establish field testing methodologies using industry best practices; provide certifiable training on test equipment systems. • Oversee inventory control, tracking, and operations for specialized test equipment and label printing resources. • Coordinate and validate closeout packages, including test reports, redlines, as-built drawings, and warranties.

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in project engineering within telecom, connectivity, or data center environments. • Proficiency with Bluebeam or similar estimating software and the ability to fluently read and interpret blueprints/specifications. • Industry Knowledge: Deep understanding of Telecom/Connectivity trade scopes, data center environments, and cabling installation standards. • Deep understanding of Division 27 specifications. • Data Management: Ability to accurately maintain internal data systems (Loenbro systems). • Experience with as-builts, redlines, and project closeout processes. • Experience using Fluke, EXFO, or similar test equipment. • Bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering, or related field. • Ability to design cabling systems adhering to industry standards/Div27 specifications. • Deep understanding of fiber optic troubleshooting and cleaning methods.
