📋 Description

• Maintain, evolve, and modernize legacy systems developed in Java, ensuring quality, stability, and compatibility. • Develop new features, perform bug fixes and code optimizations, applying development best practices. • Implement and consume RESTful APIs, integrating different corporate systems. • Work on configuration, deployment, and troubleshooting of applications on JBoss EAP / WildFly servers. • Use the Spring Framework (Core, MVC, Data, Security, Boot) to create and maintain robust, secure applications. • Manage dependencies using Maven, configuring profiles and plugins according to the environment. • Perform data modeling, write advanced SQL queries, and integrate applications with relational databases (PostgreSQL, Oracle, SQL Server). • Write and maintain automated tests (JUnit, Mockito) to ensure software quality and reliability. • Version code using Git (GitLab or GitHub), following version control best practices and branching workflows. • Support refactoring and modernization of legacy systems, including migrations to Spring Boot and modern architectures. • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams (architecture, infrastructure, and business) in defining and evolving technical solutions. • Contribute to continuous improvement of development processes by proposing improvements in performance, architecture, and security.

🎯 Requirements

• Solid experience with Java 8 or higher. • Proficiency with the Spring Framework (Core, MVC, Data, Security, Boot). • Advanced knowledge of JPA / Hibernate. • Experience with application servers JBoss EAP / WildFly (configuration, deployment and troubleshooting). • Proficiency in Maven for builds, dependency management and packaging. • Strong knowledge of SQL, relational modeling and integration with PostgreSQL, Oracle or SQL Server databases. • Experience in developing and maintaining RESTful APIs. • Experience with Git (GitLab, GitHub) and collaborative versioning. • Knowledge of automated testing (JUnit, Mockito). • Familiarity with tools such as Eclipse, IntelliJ IDEA, Postman and Jenkins. • Experience in refactoring and modernizing legacy systems (e.g., migration from Java EE to Spring Boot). • Knowledge of monolithic architectures and migration to microservices. • Basic knowledge of containerization with Docker and orchestration in OpenShift or Kubernetes. • Experience with monitoring and logging (ELK Stack, Prometheus, Kibana). • Practice with continuous integration (CI/CD). • Awareness of application security (OAuth2, JWT, HTTPS, CORS).
