📋 Description

• Design, author, and maintain structured test plans, suites, and test cases across Desktop (macOS/Windows), Web, and Mobile (iOS/Android) • Validate application behavior against functional user stories, Acceptance Criteria, and visual design specifications such as Figma • Isolate, reproduce, and document detailed bug reports in Jira, including reproduction steps, environment parameters, expected versus actual behavior, and diagnostic assets • Perform exploratory testing to uncover issues not captured in test cases • Collaborate with Developers and Product Managers to understand requirements and design test strategies for new features • Participate in Scrum ceremonies to advocate for quality early in the development lifecycle and provide quality updates and feedback • Contribute to continuous improvement of QA processes and methodologies

🎯 Requirements

• 4+ years of hands-on QA experience embedded in an Agile/Scrum software engineering team • Solid understanding of the software development life cycle (SDLC) • Experience reproducing and reporting software bugs, ideally from customer reports • Practical experience with defect trackers (e.g., Jira, Azure DevOps) and dedicated test management platforms (e.g., TestRail, Zephyr) • Proficient in testing applications across Desktop (Windows/macOS), Web (cross-browser), and Mobile (iOS/Android) • Exceptional written and verbal English communication skills, capable of seamless daily collaboration with cross-functional teams • Strong attention to detail, ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and balance multiple testing priorities • Experience collaborating with distributed, US-based engineering teams • Must be able to work remotely from Quintana Roo or Yucatán, Mexico • Familiarity with basic test automation frameworks or scripting (e.g., Playwright, Cypress, Selenium) (preferred) • User knowledge of Logos Bible Software or general theological knowledge (preferred)
