📋 Description

• Conduct keyword and prompt research, taking both traditional search engines and AI-powered search systems into account • Create editorial plans based on keyword and topic clusters • Prepare SEO content briefs for external writers • Identify content gaps and new topic opportunities • Optimize page titles, meta descriptions, headings, internal linking structures, and other page elements in WordPress • Optimize existing website copy with regard to keywords, search intent, and structure • Support client meetings with analyses, reports, and presentation materials • Analyze the SEO status of client websites • Provide SEO support for website launches, relaunches, and migrations • Identify optimization opportunities and develop specific recommendations for action • Conduct competitor and competitive analyses • Coordinate with the SEO Manager and, when needed, with editorial, web development, and project management teams • Review crawling and indexing, and identify and resolve technical SEO issues • Review redirects, canonical tags, and status codes • Monitor and evaluate SEO performance using Google Search Console and SISTRIX • Analyze ranking losses and traffic declines • Monitor new and lost backlinks • Add and maintain directory listings • Analyze visibility in Google AI Overviews, ChatGPT, Perplexity, and Gemini • Develop measures to improve visibility in AI search systems (GEO)

🎯 Requirements

• Several years of experience in SEO, ideally at an agency or managing multiple client projects in parallel • Proficiency with Google Search Console, SISTRIX, and common crawling tools such as Screaming Frog • Solid understanding of technical SEO and WordPress • Experience with GEO and visibility in AI search systems • Experience working remotely and using digital communication and project management tools • Reliable, with the ability to prioritize tasks across multiple projects and deliver them on time • Structured, self-directed working style and enthusiasm for team collaboration • Very good written and spoken German • Experience with websites in the legal or consulting sector is a plus • Willingness to submit references, availability, and hourly rate
