📋 Description

• Responsible for the technical design of deployment, setup, and automation logic • Develop the internal platform for customer onboarding and lifecycle management • Design and own the architecture of Power BI workspace and deployment structures • Automate deployment and release processes using Power Automate and the Power BI REST API • Implement logging, status-tracking, and monitoring mechanisms based on SQL • Analyze dependencies between reports, datasets, and dataflows to enable idempotent deployments • Work closely with Product, Customer Success, and Implementation teams to translate requirements into technical architectures

🎯 Requirements

• Several years of experience in BI, data engineering, or automation environments • Strong understanding of relational data models and proficient SQL skills (JOINs, DML, basic stored procedures) • Advanced knowledge of Power BI (datasets, Dataflows Gen1/Gen2, deployment pipelines, rebinding, service vs. desktop, gateway & credentials) • Multiple years of experience with Power Automate (cloud flows, HTTP actions, error handling, concurrency, asynchronous processes) • Understanding of REST APIs, basic OAuth concepts, and the ability to read and analyze JSON structures • Structured, precise working style with a high quality and security mindset • Very good German language skills, both written and spoken
