📋 Description

• Analyze data and develop preliminary findings for the Fire Safety Research Institute • Prepare written reports and data visualizations to support research • Collaborate with Fire Safety teams and other researchers for data analysis • Develop models associated with fire safety science • Analyze emergency response data to determine trends and develop solutions • Work with students and teams and present research results as needed

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Data Analytics, Data Science, Computer Science, Information Systems, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field plus 8 or more years of directly related work experience or Master’s degree plus 4 or more years of directly related work experience or PhD plus 2 or more years of directly related work experience • Expertise in statistical analysis, predictive modeling, and hypothesis testing • Experience designing interactive dashboards, reports, and executive-level presentations • Advanced proficiency in Python, SQL, and modern data analysis libraries • Demonstrated experience with cloud-based data platforms and analytics environments (AWS, Snowflake, Dash)
