📋 Description

• Lead and mentor a global team of cloud engineers, providing technical guidance and strategic direction • Drive innovation and automation in cloud operations to improve efficiency, scalability, and reliability • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the delivery of high-quality products to customers • Take ownership of Lucidworks' company-wide cloud-first initiative and streamline the onboarding process for new customers • Oversee major projects, including automating infrastructure, creating monitors and alerts, and developing tooling for team and company consumption • Oversee and manage product upgrades, coordinating with cross-functional teams • Ensure high uptime and performance of managed customer environments • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in cloud engineering and DevOps

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in cloud engineering, with expertise in GCP, Azure, and/or AWS • 3+ years of experience in a leadership or managerial role, overseeing cloud engineering teams • Strong experience with containerization including Kubernetes • Proven experience in managing large-scale distributed systems across multiple cloud environments • Knowledge of JVM-based applications and garbage collection analysis • Experience with SOLR, troubleshooting and shard and replica placement analysis, including impact on performance • Experience with SaaS infrastructure and deployment models • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to thrive in high-impact, fast-paced environments • Excellent communication and leadership skills • Acceptable background check.
