📋 Description

• Design, develop, and maintain backend applications using Ruby on Rails. • Build scalable, secure, and high-performance APIs and services. • Develop and maintain ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes to support data integration and reporting. • Apply object-oriented programming principles to create maintainable, reusable, and testable code. • Optimize database queries and application performance. • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define technical solutions and deliver new features. • Write automated tests and participate in code reviews to ensure high-quality software. • Troubleshoot production issues and implement long-term solutions. • Contribute to system architecture and continuous improvement initiatives.

🎯 Requirements

• MUST be a US Citizen located within the United States • Strong professional experience developing applications with Ruby on Rails. • Solid understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) principles and design patterns. • Experience designing and maintaining ETL/data transformation processes. • Experience working with relational databases such as PostgreSQL or MySQL. • Familiarity with RESTful APIs and backend service architecture. • Experience with Git and modern software development practices. • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. • Preferred • Experience working in Agile development environments. • Familiarity with background job processing (Sidekiq, Resque, etc.). • Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud. • Knowledge of Docker and CI/CD pipelines. • Experience integrating third-party APIs and services.
