📋 Description

• Prepare accurate, timely financial and management reports for internal stakeholders. • Analyze results, costs, variances, trends, and KPIs, and turn them into clear, actionable insights for management. • Support the preparation and maintenance of budgets, forecasts, and financial plans. • Collect budget assumptions and inputs from stakeholders across the business. • Monitor actuals against budget and forecast, and explain significant variances. • Process and post entries in NetSuite. • Perform account and cost reconciliations and investigate discrepancies. • Apply accounting principles and ensure financial data is recorded accurately. • Coordinate with external accountants on data and compliance requirements. • Identify and implement ways to automate repetitive finance and reporting tasks. • Support day-to-day accounting activities while working with internal stakeholders and external accountants across countries.

🎯 Requirements

• 2+ years of experience in accounting, financial reporting, financial analysis, or a related finance role. • Strong reporting and analytical skills, with the ability to explain insights to non-finance colleagues. • Good knowledge of accounting principles. • Good understanding of budgeting, forecasting, and cost control. • Experience with an ERP such as NetSuite or SAP. • Advanced Excel and experience with large or complex datasets. • Strong attention to detail, with the ability to see the bigger picture. • Ability to work independently, prioritize, and meet reporting deadlines. • Fluent English, spoken and written. • Resume submitted in English. • Nice to have: FP&A experience. • Nice to have: Experience automating reporting, reconciliations, or data collection using Power Query, SQL, Python, or BI tools. • Nice to have: Experience with international entities and external accountants across countries. • Nice to have: Familiarity with tax regulations and financial compliance. • Nice to have: Knowledge of Croatian payroll regulations and payroll processing.
