đź“‹ Description

• You will take end-to-end ownership of data linkage, quality assurance, and validation across healthcare datasets that are uniquely deep and wide-ranging. • You will create data pipelines that automate the flow of data, ensuring it moves efficiently from various sources to analytics platforms or end-users. • This includes establishing data workflows that are reliable, scalable, and easy to maintain. • You will manage and monitor data systems to guarantee their optimal performance, reliability, and security. • This often involves setting up alerts and dashboards, performing system maintenance, and troubleshooting any arising issues. • Design, implement, and maintain processes to link patient-level data across disparate systems, ensuring consistency, privacy, and traceability • Build and refine data validation tools and pipelines using FIHR, Python, SQL, and Azure technologies • Monitor data quality metrics, identify anomalies, and develop robust safeguards • Act as the go-to person for understanding how our data fits together — and where it could go next • Collaborate with technical and non-technical stakeholders to ensure datasets are fit-for-purpose for research, product development, and external use • Support and mentor junior colleagues in good data stewardship practices

🎯 Requirements

• A degree in a quantitative field (e.g., Computer Science, Biomedical Informatics, Engineering, Statistics, Mathematics) • Experience linking and validating large, complex datasets, understanding data models, and mapping data between different data models at scale with sensitive data • Strong programming skills (SQL and/or Python; familiarity with R also welcome) • Familiarity with data architecture and cloud environments (Azure preferred) • Excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive mindset • Strong communication skills, especially when explaining data logic to others • A collaborative, thoughtful approach to teamwork and peer learning
