📋 Description

• Collect and reconcile customer usage data against licensed entitlements to ensure compliance • Detect discrepancies such as over-usage, under-usage, or compliance risks and provide remediation steps • Provide clear, actionable reports and insights to management, finance, procurement, and account teams • Recommend adjustments in license allocation to reduce costs and optimize usage across teams • Forecast future licensing requirements based on usage trends and business growth plans • Review Dynamics 365 security roles and map them accurately to license types (Operations, Team Member, Device, Activity, capacity-based entitlements) • Perform data analysis using Excel, Power BI, and/or SQL to extract, validate, and reconcile licensing information • Identify over-licensing or under-licensing risks and provide cost-saving recommendations while ensuring compliance with Microsoft rules • Partner with IT, Finance, and Procurement to implement optimization strategies and improve cost efficiency • Communicate licensing requirements, risks, and optimization opportunities in both technical and business-friendly terms

🎯 Requirements

• Minimum 15 years of overall IT experience, with at least 5 years specializing in Microsoft licensing (Dynamics 365 preferred) • Deep understanding of Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Supply Chain Management license types and entitlements • Strong experience in user role and security analysis within D365 • Proficiency in Excel, Power BI, and/or SQL for license data analysis and reporting • Knowledge of Microsoft licensing rules, compliance frameworks, and optimization best practices • Strong analytical skills with the ability to detect discrepancies and forecast licensing needs • Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain findings to both technical and non-technical stakeholders • Experience working with finance and procurement teams for cost optimization initiatives • Preferred Certifications: Microsoft Certified: Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations Apps Solution Architect Expert, Microsoft Certified: Dynamics 365 Finance Functional Consultant Associate, Microsoft Certified: Dynamics 365 Supply Chain Management Functional Consultant Associate
