📋 Description

• Design, build and evolve Luscii’s AWS platform using Terraform as the single source of truth • Drive the gradual modernisation of the cloud landscape • Build reusable infrastructure, deployment pipelines and platform tooling • Enable engineering teams to ship independently and safely • Introduce pragmatic cloud-native and event-driven solutions • Standardise monitoring, logging, dashboards and alerting across the platform • Improve deployment practices with automated CI/CD, progressive delivery and rollback strategies • Embed security, compliance and cost optimisation through automated guardrails and best practices • Coach fellow engineers and review infrastructure and application code • Collaborate with backend engineers, product teams and colleagues in Japan • Influence technical direction and improve reliability, scalability, developer experience and cost-efficiency for OMRON Connect

🎯 Requirements

• At least 6 years of experience building and operating large-scale cloud platforms • At least 6 years of senior-level ownership of modern cloud architectures • Deep hands-on AWS expertise • Extensive Infrastructure as Code experience with Terraform • Strong understanding of cloud-native, serverless and event-driven architectures • Experience building reliable production systems with observability, automated deployments and safe release practices • Experience modernising legacy platforms through incremental improvements • Strong backend engineering experience, preferably with Node.js and TypeScript • Willingness to work in a Holacratic organisation • Fluent English for internal communication • Ability to take ownership of complex technical challenges and work independently while collaborating with teams
