📋 Description

• Lead large-scale, high-impact technical initiatives. • Define and influence architectural and technology directions. • Guide engineers on complex projects and support strategic hiring decisions. • Review and approve technical solutions proposed by teams. • Explore new technologies, conduct advanced research, and propose innovative approaches. • Monitor market trends and encourage internal experimentation. • Serve as a technical mentor and support the development of future leaders. • Raise the overall technical standard across engineering by promoting best practices and standards. • Represent the company at conferences, events, and external initiatives. • Facilitate communication between technical and non-technical areas, ensuring clarity and alignment. • Collaborate with Product, UX, Marketing, Support, and other teams to align solutions with business needs. • Translate business needs into technical decisions and vice versa. • Participate in company-level strategic discussions related to architecture, infrastructure, and technical roadmap. • Support long-term planning and identify opportunities for evolution. • Ensure systems are robust, high-performing, scalable, and secure. • Define and uphold quality standards in development. • Promote practices for testing, automation, observability, and resilience.

🎯 Requirements

• Deep, up-to-date technical experience. • Strategic thinking and the ability to convert strategy into execution. • Excellent communication across levels (engineers → executives). • Inquisitive, goal-oriented, agile, and ownership-driven profile. • Strong negotiation and influencing skills (without direct people management). • Ability to solve complex problems. • Skill in handling conflicts and making decisions based on risk and impact. • Proficiency in multiple languages: C#, Java, Go, PHP, Vue.js, React Native, among others. • Knowledge of different paradigms: OO, functional, procedural. • Clean Code, S.O.L.I.D., DDD, TDD. • Design patterns and engineering best practices. • Architectures: Hexagonal, Onion, Clean Architecture. • Styles: Monolith, Plugin Architecture, SOA, Microservices, Event-Driven. • Discipline in Enterprise Architecture, Socio-Technical Architecture, and capability mapping. • Relational databases, NoSQL, caching, CQRS. • Protocols: REST, gRPC, WebSocket. • API and capability design and management. • Distributed computing, security, observability, and performance. • Cloud (AWS, GCP, Azure) and main cloud components. • Quality: stress testing, load testing, BDD, TDD. • Agile frameworks (Scrum, Kanban). • Definition and tracking of technical metrics and KPIs. • Experience with OKRs.
