📋 Description
• Draft and negotiate varying complex author contracts (including global joint acquisitions agreements, working up to profit sharing agreements) • Support Macmillan Audio agreements, understanding publisher-specific needs • Advise Editors, Publishers, Finance, and other colleagues on deal terms and agency boilerplate • Contract terminations • Entering and maintaining contract data in Biblio • Special projects, as needed
🎯 Requirements
• Approximately 4-7 years’ book publishing contracts experience (in-house or at a literary agency) • Ability to manage high volume of work with varying complexity
