Mammutmarsch is an organizer of large-scale endurance hiking events that challenge participants to walk long distances (commonly 30–100 km, including a flagship 100 km in 24 hours) across multiple European cities and regions. The company runs daytime and night events, provides route marking and GPS tracks, safety and medical support, logistics such as checkpoints, exit points and shuttle services, ticketing and packaged participation options, volunteer programs, training guidance and event merchandise. Mammutmarsch positions itself as a mass-participation, consumer-facing sports brand focused on pushing physical and mental limits while prioritizing participant safety and event experience.

📋 Description

• Communicate and coordinate with local authorities, municipalities, venues, and other relevant parties • Represent Mammutmarch professionally and confidently in all interactions with stakeholders, partners, and suppliers • Schedule and attend on-site meetings, venue inspections, and negotiations • Assess hiking routes for safety, accessibility, logistics, participant experience, and overall appeal • Identify, evaluate, and coordinate suitable suppliers for event infrastructure, equipment, signage, catering, and other operational requirements • Prepare and coordinate all operational aspects of the events • Manage event delivery on site and ensure smooth, safe, and high-quality execution • Act as the main point of contact for partners, suppliers, authorities, and the operational team before and during each event • Respond quickly and pragmatically to unexpected challenges on event days • Work closely with the German event team to develop Mammutmarsch in Sweden

🎯 Requirements

• Proven experience in event management, ideally within outdoor, sports, endurance, or large-scale public events • Strong organizational, communication, and negotiation skills • Professional and confident stakeholder management • A hands-on, solution-oriented approach and the ability to work independently • A strong understanding of event safety, logistics, and operational planning • Willingness to travel and attend on-site appointments • Ability to remain calm and make sound decisions in dynamic event environments • Fluency in Swedish and English • On-site presence at the events and travel are required
