📋 Description

• Lead the client-side Navigation SDK & Apps team and provide strategic direction for mobile SDK capabilities • Organize the team’s day-to-day work and align it with company priorities • Manage and develop the team through hiring, retaining, mentoring, and building capabilities • Drive company, product, and team objectives and involve the team in decision-making • Lead delivery of robust, reliable, and scalable solutions that handle billions of requests • Work closely with product to understand customer needs and develop strategic plans • Foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, inclusion, and data-driven decisions • Help team members learn new skills through mentorship and development opportunities • Develop long-term business strategy and drive the team’s work product

🎯 Requirements

• 7+ years of people management experience • Experience leading and mentoring high-performing engineering teams (preference for mixed Android and iOS teams) • Experience designing and developing complex mobile software with strong performance requirements • Operational excellence: monitoring, metrics, triage, resolving customer issues, iterative improvement • Experience with clearly designed interfaces, documentation, thorough test coverage, and effective code reviews • Ownership mindset: ability to own vision, lead strategy, and guide execution • Customer focus: deep care about customer problems and innovation on their behalf • Strong written and verbal communication skills • Nice to have: Experience working with AWS (S3, ECS, CloudWatch, CloudFormation)
